Prof. David Zitoun Awarded Bar-Ilan University’s 2025 Rector Prize for Scientific Innovations!
On May 5th 2025, Prof. David Zitoun was awarded the Rector Prize for Scientific Innovations at Bar-Ilan University. The annual prize recognizes faculty whose work demonstrates both originality and clear potential for real-world application.
The selection committee cited Prof. Zitoun’s work as a pioneering contribution to electrochemical energy conversion and sustainable-energy research.
The awards ceremony was led by University President Prof. Arie Zaban and Rector Prof. Amnon Albeck who both delivered remarks. A short film highlighted this year’s laureates and certificates were presented. Colleagues, students and collaborators joined to celebrate this distinguished recognition.
